1. Ice on an Angel's Wings
Love and Anger. They?re at seemingly opposite ends of the emotional spectrum yet, as we know, they are very closely connected in terms of depth. This song is about washing away the anger and letting love rule.
2. The Necklace
Relationships are so complicated. Respect them. Hold them close, yet let them breathe. And always take responsibility for your part in them?
3. Giving Tree
You have a person(s) or a place(s) where you feel safe and sheltered. You can be that shelter for some person, or for some animal, or for some cause that you feel deeply connected to. It?s your life and your soul. Go for it!
4. What's an Eye?
You can only close your eyes for so long, really. It is difficult, but we all need to wake up and deal with life's realities. No matter what has happened to us, or what we have made happen in the past, we can become stronger every day we're alive. Let's do it!
5. Ask a Question
The meaning and purpose of our lives is something we're always searching for. Everyone's is unique. If we don't ask ourselves sincerely, we'll never know. And when we do ask, we free ourselves to pass through the rain to the sunlight and get our answers.
6. One Light
We must work harder to understand those different from us, and to embrace those differences without fear. This will create true, personal freedom for all of us.
7. In the Same Town
I loved a man very deeply. We lived too far away from each other. We made changes to be together. And, yes, I moved to the same town! The power of that? Amazing!

8. Hey, Whaddya You Say?
My " What the hey," song. Don't you need to let your hair down once in awhile? Take a major break from reality? I do.
9. Rivers of Love
I was really hoping Madonna would cover this song (ha) and then I could retire, but I never got around to sending it to her. So I recorded it myself.
10. Windstorm
You know, it really is okay sometimes to be sad or contemplative and to not worry about cheering up. It's quite cathartic, actually.
11. Nine Days
Queen Jane of England got a really crummy deal. I wanted you all to know that. This is just one of many examples in history of the destruction that can happen when fear, power and ignorance become friends.
12. Cryin' in the Storm
We've all lost someone who has been so very close to us - a friend, a parent, a pet - yet we still deeply feel their connection to us. We never lose that connection.
13. Burt
I wrote this before I had any children, but still I felt that watching a child grow and leave home, or seeing a child be hurt or even die, was bigger than anything else. We can't always keep our children safe, but we surely try. Cherish every moment with them, with your eyes open wide?
